The Head of the Automation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Space Technologies (AEEEST) scientific discipline of the Lodz University of Technology announces the competition for internal grants within the programme "FU2N (Fund for Improvement of Young Scientists' Skills)" of the Lodz University of Technology in the discipline.
The competition is addressed to:
- first or second year PhD students of the Interdisciplinary Doctoral School at the Lodz University of Technology (maximum of 2 grants for the AEEEST discipline),
- young scientists, i.e. up to 5 years after completing their PhD (maximum of 4 grants for the AEEEST discipline).
The programme aims to strengthen the university's scientific and human resources potential by improving the skills of doctoral students and young researchers in preparing applications for research grants and increasing efficiency in obtaining grants.
The maximum amount of grant is:
- for a doctoral student – 15,000 Polish Zloty,
- for a young scientist – 20,000 Polish Zloty.
A necessary condition for project settlement is the preparation and submission by the beneficiary, as the project leader, of a grant application to one of the competition programmes announced by external research funding institutions.
